St Elizabeth Home is currently seeking to recruit Care Workers to work on Full-time basis.
As a carer the job entails mainly of helping residents with their immediate needs such as washing, dressing and maintaining their hygiene, as well as helping them with basic day-to-day needs.
Work duties include:
- To provide compassionate personal and practical care services to people with a variety of health conditions and disabilities.
- To assist service users with daily routines, including helping them get up, dress, undress and manage personal hygiene such as washing and bathing when necessary.
- To support individuals with mobility challenges and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To offer sensitive care and comfort to service users nearing the end of life
- To promote mental and physical well-being by engaging with service users through conversation, outings, and participation in hobbies and recreational activities like reading and writing.
In this role you will play an important part in providing exceptional care to the elderly.
